Piercing/Suspension Teams
- TDH - throwin dem hooks
TDH is a suspension team based in Hampton Roads, Virginia, which currently consists of piercers Josh Burge, Pu Nastee, Ryan Provido, Alley Bangarang, Cat Brocato, and tattoo artist Jay Garrett. Josh, Pu, and Ryan formed TDH in 2003, with Jay, Alley, and Cat joining in 2009. With combined piercing experience of over 36 years, the team views piercing as a very serious form of art. Each member comes from a different studio in the Hampton Roads area, and all come with many years of experience in body modification. Along with the many experiences, TDH also comes with many different views of the industry.
Suspension means many different things to the group, and their clients. For some it’s the spiritual aspect, others for getting over fears, or just for fun and experience. Whatever the reason, the group values the experience, and hopes to continue many more years of sharing the art with others.
- Sacred Mark Sanctuary (SMS)
Sacred Mark Sanctuary (SMS) is an interfaith sanctuary and Maryland 501(c)3. SMS promotes and explores the interconnectedness between mind, body, and spirit, focusing on the use of the body to access Spirit - particularly through the practices of body modification. - Kindlers of the Sacred Rhythm
Kindlers of the Sacred Rhythm (Kindlers) is a group of pagans incoprporated as a Maryland Church, dedicated to following the path of Ordeal as a means of approaching the Sacred.
Kindlers formed as a place for kinky Pagans to explore the intersection of Magikal and BDSM Play. We are drawn to explore the energy of extremes through ritual and trance. Walking in the footsteps of our ancestors, we make our own path. Using the container of Magikal space, we choose to face challenges, fears and extremes to look inside ourselves and cast light on our shadow.
