Directions from 295 BW Parkway
Starting either Northbound or Southbound on 295 BW Parkway
- Exit onto US-50 W/New York Ave NE toward Washington and travel 5.9 miles, crossing North Capitol and 1st Streets.
- Turn Right onto Kirby St. NW and travel 0.1 miles
- Turn Right onto N St NW and travel 423 feet
- Take first Right onto First St NW and travel 0.1 miles
- Take second Left onto M Street NW and travel 0.2 miles crossing North Capitol
- The Crucible is on the left at 16 M St NE, 330 feet after North Capitol
Directions From 95, 395 and points south in Virginia
Starting Norhtbound on 95
- At the merge of 95, 495 and 395 (the "Mixing Bowl") continue North onto 395 North towards Washington and travel 9.7 miles
- Take Interstate 395 N exit toward Capitol Hill/Verizon Centre/Nationals Park and travel 0.3 miles
- Merge onto I-395 N and travel 0.9 miles
- Take exit 6 for Interstate 395 N toward D Street Northwest/U.S. Senate/C Street Southwest/U.S. Capitol and travel 0.3 miles
- Keep right at fork and travel 1.6 miles
- Turn right onto New York Ave NW and travel 0.1 miles
- Turn right onto M St NW and travel 0.3 miles, crossing North Capitol
- The Crucible is on the left at 16 M St NE, 330 feet after North Capitol
Directions from I-270 to the beltway, and points Northwest in MD
Starting soutbound on I-270
- Merge onto I-495 E and travel 3.7 miles
- Take exit 31B to merge onto MD-97 S/Georgia Ave toward Silver Spring Entering District of Columbia and travel 7.1 miles
- Turn left onto Florida Ave NW and travel 0.6 miles
- Turn right onto Firstl St NW and travel 0.4 miles
- Turn left onto M Street NW and travel 0.2 miles crossing North Capitol
- The Crucible is on the left at 16 M St NE, 330 feet after North Capitol
Walking Directions from Metro
- Take the Metro to New York Avenue station on the Red Line
- Leaving the New York Avenue Metro station using the M Street exit
- Turn right onto M St NE and travel 0.2 miles (not quite 2 blocks)
- The Crucible is on the right at 16 M St NE
Things to Remember
- Valid, current government-issued ID - no ID, no entry
- Cash, if paying at door
- Receipt/confirmation of payment, if paid online
- Directions to the event
- Pen, to fill out event release
- Covered Dish/Food item to pass/share for Potluck
- Personal snack/food item(s) to make sure you don't have an energy crash, especially if getting hooked - a carb for energy and a protein for grounding suggested
- A Supportive friend, especially if first time getting hooked/suspended
- Camera for personal pics
- Drum or noisemaker to take part in our drum circle
All participants must have a valid I.D., be at least 18, and sign a liability waiver to get in.
Online Registration will be open until 11:59pm, March 15 . After that, you will have to pay cash at the door.
